1. Log in to the VDS control panel

2. Connect to the VNC console of your VDS server using TightVNC

Mounting an ISO image in the server's virtual CD/DVD drive:

3. To mount an ISO from the repository:
3.1 Go to the "Virtual CD / DVD" section
3.2 Select the ISO image you need from the list
3.3 Click the "Mount" button

4. To mount your own ISO image:
4.1 Go to the "Virtual CD / DVD" section
4.2 Open the "Mount your own ISO image" tab

4.3 Enter the direct URL of your ISO and click the "Mount" button

The ISO image will be mounted within a minute.

Booting the server from the mounted ISO image:

Next, initiate a reboot of the VDS server and immediately switch to the VNC console (TightVNC Viewer) you opened earlier.

At the very beginning of the boot process, press F12 and choose to boot from CD/DVD (enter the corresponding number).

The server will start booting from the ISO image you mounted.

Remember that when working with the VNC console, your computer must be set to the English keyboard layout!

What if the mounted ISO does not work (is not available) on the server?

If the ISO is shown as mounted in the control panel but is missing on the VDS, try unmounting and then mounting this ISO image again. If that does not help, try mounting some other ISO image from our repository. If that one works but the one you mounted earlier does not, the problem is most likely with your ISO image. Make sure it is not corrupted, or try mounting it from a different source.

If an ISO from our repository does not work, contact technical support and provide the details.
