Q: I had financial problems and didn't manage to pay the invoice for my server on time. It was suspended and remained suspended for 6 days until I was able to renew it. Why do I have to pay for these 6 days while the server was suspended and I wasn't using it?

Q: We would like to clarify: is it normal that we pay for the server even when it is not working (suspended)?
For example, last month we had some financial difficulties and paid for the server 2 days late (December 22). The next due date doesn't shift, and these days are simply lost?

Q: The server was suspended on December 12, I paid on December 16, but the next due date is January 12 (not 16). Why? So I am paying for the time when the server was suspended and no services were provided to me?

A: The server is paid for regardless of whether you use it or not (for example, when access to the server is suspended), because all the resources allocated to it (disk space, RAM, CPU, IP address) remain in use, running programs keep running, etc. In other words, as long as your VDS exists, it uses the resources allocated to it, which cannot be used by anyone else, so all of this time must be paid for. For example, if you rent a car and at some point cannot use it because you forgot or didn't have time to refuel it, you still pay the full rental price for the whole period the car is with you.
