What is a "setup fee"?
It is a small one-time payment for activating a new server, similar to a mobile operator's "connection fee" or an "entrance fee" in a cooperative.

Do you charge a setup fee?
All our servers are available without a setup fee. The only exception is the cheapest plan, VDS1, when paid monthly. When paid for 3 months, setup of this VDS is free as well.

Why is there a setup fee for VDS1?
If you use this cheapest server for less than a month, we make no profit on it and even take a small loss (payment for activating the Windows OS subscription, time spent reviewing the order, reserving resources, etc.), so in this case the setup fee covers our costs and encourages you to use the server longer, since if you cancel / order a new server you will have to pay the setup fee again. In addition, the setup fee limits the number of unprofitable orders from people who want to rent this server for just one month.

Can I get VDS1 without a setup fee?
Yes, of course. Just pay for the server for a quarter, and setup will be free. On top of that, you also get a 5% discount.

I plan to use VDS1 for more than three months, but I can only pay monthly. What should I do?
In this case you will still have to pay the setup fee. Once you have used the server for more than 3 months, you can contact technical support and we will refund this amount to your account balance in the system.
