In accordance with our Terms of Service, all new clients must verify the phone number provided during registration within 12 hours after their VDS is activated. If the phone number is not verified, the VDS will be suspended for up to 7 days. If the verification issue is not resolved within this period, the VDS will be terminated without a refund. Instructions for completing the verification and answers to frequently asked questions are given below:

Q: How does phone verification work?

Phone verification is automatic: you send an SMS from your phone to our service number. A number verified this way is saved in your client profile.

Q: How do I verify my phone number?

A: To start the verification, log in to the client area and go to "My Details". If your phone number is not verified, a "Verify" link will be shown next to it. Click it and follow the system's instructions.

Q: What if I entered the wrong number during registration?

A: During verification you can enter any phone number you want to use. After successful confirmation, this number will be saved to your profile automatically.

Q: When I enter my phone number, the system says the number is already used in another account!

A: This means you have used or verified this number in another account of yours. In this case, you need to place your order from that (old) account. If you cannot log in to it or reset the password (you do not remember the answer to the security question), contact technical support and we will help you reset the password.

Q: How long does SMS delivery take?

A: After sending the SMS, wait about 15-30 seconds; this is usually enough for the SMS to be delivered, processed and added to the confirmation database.

Q: I sent the SMS, but when I click the "Verify" button I get the error "Confirmation not found"

A: In most cases this happens because you made a mistake in the SMS text (pay attention to the colon and the space after it) or sent it to the wrong service number (mistyped the number). Also check your own number carefully (verification will fail if the number the SMS came from differs from the number being verified). Very rarely one of the service numbers may be unavailable; in that case, use another one.

Q: I have already verified my phone number before. Do I need to do it again if I place a new order?

A: A phone number is verified only once. If it is marked as "verified" in your profile, you will only need to verify it again if you want to change it to a different number or if you have not used our services for some time (you had no active servers).

Q: I want to change the phone number in my profile. How do I do that?

A: Click the "Change" link on the page with your number and follow the instructions. Once the new number is confirmed, it will be saved in your profile.
