Outgoing connections to port 25 (SMTP) do not work
For security reasons and to fight spammers, outgoing connections to port 25 (to SMTP servers) are blocked by default on all VDS servers. If you need access to port 25 to send email, open a corresponding ticket with technical support. In it you must do one of the following:
- specify the IP addresses of the SMTP servers you need access to (up to 3)
OR
- add a prepayment for 3 months of VDS rental at your current plan to your account balance
OR
- attach a scanned copy of your passport confirming your registration details to the request
Once the ticket is processed, your VDS will get access to the SMTP servers you specified, or to any SMTP server if you made a 3-month prepayment or provided a scanned copy of your passport.
